Alison suggests
that we hold a bake sale in the first week of November, which is almost a month
before Novemberfest, and then skip the December bake sale. We discuss at length
whether this is a good idea. Ellie points out that there is no reason to
replace an event that we know will work (the December bake sale) with an event
that may or may not be successful (cake raffle.) Logically we should do both,
or just the bake sale.
3.
Sue suggests that
in order to successfully host both events, we could enlist the help of alumni
to bake for a December sale. Everyone agrees that this is a great compromise.
